Fueled by his love and enthusiasm for his Savior Jesus Christ and a desire to serve Him, Pastor Edward Nelson Lowther embraces his congregation and his community with a Spirit-filled exuberance.
Self-described as "a sinner saved by grace," Pastor Lowther attributes any accomplishments to Our Lord Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.
Pastor Lowther and his wife Tonnya, together with their two daughters Brandi and Shalayna, serve the South Buckhannon Mission Church and the surrounding community in a collaborative family ministry. Their ministry is to spread the Love and Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Recently, Pastor Lowther completed an associate’s degree in theology from West Virginia Christian University.

Tia is married to Mark Harper and has two children (Jay and Katy). Jay is getting married in the spring of 2009. Katy is a sophomore at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Tia currently owns and manages Merle Norman in downtown Buckhannon. Tia's husband owns and operates Harper Lumber.
